Ponga especial atención con la contracción ´s, ya que el apóstrofe sustituye tanto a las letras suprimidas de is como de has. El sentido de la frase nos indicará si se trata de tercera persona singular del verbo be o have:
She´s in the supermarket (Ella) está en el supermercado.
She´s = She is
She´s gone to the supermarket (Ella) se ha ido al supermercado.
She´s = She has
Recuerde que hay contracciones alternativas para la forma negativa del verbo be (ser/estar) en plural.
we are not = we´re not = we aren´t No somos
you are not = you´re not = you aren´t No sois
they are not = they´re not = they aren´t No son
